Do you take returns or exchanges? TOP

We welcome all returns.  Since you cannot tell how an item will fit or how it looks over the internet, you will have a chance to return it if you want to. We will credit you an amount of $3 per order for shipping it back to us.
There is a 30 day policy when returning items. You must return items within 30 days of ordering for any type of credit.
Also it is suggested that you send an email in regards to your return request before shipping the item back to us. If you don't get our approval first  then you are taking a risk of not receiving credit for your return.
I take time examing each item before it is placed in the mail to you.  If a flaw or a spot exists on the item it will not be shipped to you and a refund will be made.  This guards against people making claims that the item was flawed before they received it, when actually the item was damaged by the customer and they are trying to get a refund anyway.
Please check the measurements carefully before you place your order. We will credit you an amount of $3 for shipping it back to us.  Items will be accepted for refund or exchange only if it is still in the same condition as it was shipped out including all tags still attached.
Note:  Your refund can take up to 10 days to process.

What if I need to exchange a seasonal item? TOP

Seasonal items include Christmas themed, Thanksgiving themed, Easter, Valentine's, Halloween, etc.
Seasonable items must be returned and postage dated 21 days before the holiday occurs.  Seasonal items are not returnable after that holiday is over.  Please allow yourself time to get a proper fit.
We prefer you send it back as quickly as possible so that someone else may buy it. 
You must contact us first before mailing back an item.  You take the risk of not getting credit otherwise.

What is your store credit policy? TOP
Store credit may be issued to you if you return merchandise after the 30 day return limit period.
You must use all of the store credit with a merchandise purchase. In other words, if there is a remainder, then monetary credit will be forfeited.  Your store credit issued will be good for one year from the issue date.

What if the item I want to buy says "pre-order"? TOP

This means that we have ordered this item to be in our stock but it has not yet arrived.
Arrival date is unknown.  If you decide to pay for an item as a pre-order it will be designated for you and as soon as it arrives it will ship out immediately to your shipping address.

How will my item ship to me? TOP
Only U.S. Postal Service First Class Mail or Priority Mail is used for shipping your items to you.  Your items will arrive neatly packed in cellophane wrapping and placed inside a flexible plastic envelope.  If you live in the southeastern U.S. it should only take two or three days to receive your order. If you need expedited shipping you can contact me for the approximate charges. If your shipping charges exceed $5 your order will most likely go Priority Mail.

How long does it take for a monogrammed item to be shipped? TOP
It should not take more than a week.  Usually the item is done within 1-2 days. Please specify a definite date you need it for.

Do you keep credit card information on file? TOP
We use a third party payment gateway.  That means that your credit card info is never shown to us.  It goes directly to the card company.  That way hackers cannot gain access to this information.

Is your shopping cart or site secure? TOP
Yes.  Payment can be made with a credit card or through Paypal. If you've never used Paypal you can use it once as a guest.  Otherwise you will need to sign up, which takes a short amount of time.

Sara Says Boutique accepts two major credit cards Visa, and Mastercard, or Paypal.  Either payment method is a safe and secure  method of payment which uses SSL to encrypt your personal information.

Is my personal information that I submit when ordering kept private? TOP

Information that you submit to Sara Says Boutique will not be sold or otherwise released to a third party.  Your personal information is used to process your order and advise you of the status and shipment of your order. 

Do you have clothing for twins? TOP
Yes, we do.  Just specify the number of items you need and add them to your cart.  If there aren't enough pieces in stock it will let you know.  We can't always order two of each style  because of the costs involved in keeping that size inventory.   I have a sister site who carries a lot of the same things and may have another one you need in that style and size.
I also have a page you can find the link for at the bottom of the screen that updates exactly which styles we have more than one of in stock. Look for "Twin Sizes Update".

Do your clothes run true to size? TOP
The Mom and Me, JLisandra and Anavini brand does. The Royal Child and Barefoot, and Monag t-shirt brand runs a size smaller.  Check the measurements for each style under the size chart tab to be sure. 

How long is the gift certificate good for? TOP
They are good for 12 months from the date of purchase.  They come in increments of $20, $30, $40, or $50.

How does someone receive their gift certificate I buy for them? TOP

If the recipient has an email address then a gift certificate can be purchased for them.  When the purchase is made, an email will be sent to them with the details, and a copy will go to you.  You will automatically receive a Paypal payment confirmation as well.

If I require a refund to my credit card, how long does that take? TOP
That takes 7-10 business days for it to show up on your statement or transaction history. This is after I have put it through to the time it goes back on your account.

Why are we closing? TOP

Last fall season we accepted a large number of new items.  Not many of them sold.  Now we are not able to add new inventory.  We still have to pay for our last year's inventory.

Auctions on Facebook have also undersold a lot of the items we are trying to sell. 

We can't keep up with that! 

It is an easy decision to make.  We can't stay in business selling the clothing for the same price as what we bought it for.  Bottom line.
